Highway 417 Lane and Ramp Closures

  • CLOSED: Highway 417 eastbound Bronson Avenue off-ramp – anticipated reopening early April 2026 (see detour below).
  • CLOSED: Lyon St S to Westbound on-ramp – closed until spring 2026 (see detour below)
  • Nightly single lane closures both east and westbound, between 9 PM and 6 AM may occur during construction season.
  • Daytime single lane closures between 10 AM and 2:30 PM may occur during construction season.

  • Deficiency repairs.

Noise Walls and Retaining Walls

  • Noise barrier installation along the eastbound lane from Fairmont Avenue to Rochester is scheduled for 2026.
  • Noise barrier deficiency repairs westbound and eastbound lanes from Island Park Drive to Kent Street is scheduled for 2026.
  • Retaining wall repairs at Fisher Park Middle school are scheduled for 2026

Other Structures

  • Electrical and ATMS work in the median and shoulder between Island Park Drive and Kent Street is scheduled for 2026
  • The Drainage work on the median and shoulders between the O-Train and Kent Street is scheduled for 2026.
  • Surface paving and line painting on the westbound and eastbound lanes from the O-Train to Kent Street is scheduled for 2026.
